FannieMae "Cool Cities" Initiative
"Cool Cities" is an urban revitalization program which uses construction to permanent, energy-efficient mortgages to help low and moderate-income New Jersey residents to become homeowners. Homes built under the program meet New Jersey’s PSE&G Energy Efficient Home 5 Star/ENERGY STAR Homes program requirements. An EEH 5 Star/ENERGY STAR Home uses one-third less energy for heating, cooling, and water heating than the average new home built in New Jersey.
